Our Leadership

Michael McCune claims only three jobs in his 58-years, real estate salesman/broker, business owner and Deputy Sheriff. The haunting call to return to the private sector after seventeen years with the Shelby County Sheriff's Office could not be ignored. Those years exposed "Mick" to a myriad of triumphs and a few defeats. The experience of working in all aspects of law enforcement helped him take the world head on and appreciate the simple things that life has to offer.

Working throughout the Fugitive, Patrol, Narcotics and Civil Division exposed him to all aspects of life behind the badge. He's most proud of his five year tenure with the Drug Interdiction Unit, where his duties as a narcotics dog handler enabled him to work with State and Federal agencies throughout the United States. His personal best seizures include over 300 pounds of marijuana and 175 pounds of cocaine. In the ultimate compliment recognizing him as a "cops cop", he was elected President of the Shelby County Deputy Sheriffs' Association. In that capacity, he represented over 400 full time Deputy Sheriffs as the chief of their bargaining unit and worked with the Administration daily to implement positive changes for those men and women who put their lives on the line each and every day. His retirement only accelerated his desire to call the shots with this professional team assembled to change the way security is perceived in the Memphis market.

Gregory Woods attended the University of Cincinnati on a football scholarship. He has also pursued studies in Criminal Justice at the University of Memphis and Murray State University. He was recruited by the Memphis Police Department and joined the force in 1986. Over the course of fifteen-years, he lived an eye-opening experience that the general public could scarcely imagine. Gregory served in the Organized Crime Unit, Narcotics and the Specialized Patrol Units before his promotion to Sergeant in 1996. In that capacity, he spent countless hours as an investigator in the divisions of Robbery, Burglary, and Auto Theft Bureau.

As Executive Vice President of Operations at Corporate IQ, Gregory is very personable and a master of public relations, with a knack for following assignments through to a successful conclusion. Prior job experience includes a supervisory position with the largest security company in the world with responsibility for all of the logistics for a Fortune 100 company located in the Mid-South. With an emphasis on loss prevention, Gregory managed more than 200 vessels and 26 security associates in all aspects from training to scheduling and payroll.

Donald McCune is a 1977 graduate of the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. After serving six years in the Air Force, Captain McCune gave up the left seat of his B-52 bomber and opted for civilian life. Don flew for Northwest Airlines for twenty years and recently left his Captain seat in the Airbus A-320.

Always the over achiever, Don attended law school at the University of Memphis and graduated magna cum laude in 2000. Don served on the negotiating team of the Airlines Pilots Association and spent two years tying up loose ends that enabled the struggling company to keep their pilots flying. Don is a licensed and practicing attorney in the State of Tennessee and was recently courted by the law firm of Motley and Rice of Mt Pleasant, South Carolina. He works in the Transportation sector specializing in aviation law. His knowledge translates legalese and jargon into practical advice tailored to your security concerns.
